Sunny- 7 month old male , Labrador, German Shepherd, Serra da Estrella mix. Funny happy chap. Nervous around strangers but great with people he knows. Good with other dogs, cats and farm animals. Has basic training, sit, down, come, but does suffer from selective hearing when he would rather stay out playing than come back. Thats also his age. With the right training and socialising he will over come his nervousness. He was abandoned in a forest with his siblings and then went to a municipal shelter where all the puppies fear issues became worse. So we fostered them to give them a better chance of adoption. Needs a home with garden and lots of activities. He has a lot of energy and loves to play and run here.
Millie- 7 month old female puppy, Good with other dogs, cats, horses and pigs. Very sweet natured pup. Nervous of strangers due to not having much socialisation in her first few months. The day we took her on she was shaking with fear. She really wants to learn and be loved and give love. She copies the other dogs a lot. So a home with a confident dog would really help her. Whilst here she has on going training and socialising .

These 2 beautiful dogs are between 3-4 years old. They arrived at our sanctuary at different times but have become good friends. They can be adopted separately or together.
If you work away from home and want to adopt a dog , adopting these 2 friends could be a great option. They play with each other all day long. Keeping themselves amused and fit.
Lexi is the more dominant and bosses Charlie around, protects her food from him, he loves that from Lexi, but doesn't like to be dominated by other males.
Lexi has great recall, Charlie's needs work but he always comes back, generally via a pond or river! Lexi has leishmaniasis. She is on medication for it that costs about €4 a month. There is no reason why she can't live a normal life and we hope that someone can look past this and see this fabulous little dog for the super star that she is. I think she would make a fabulous agility dog. Charlie is more laid back and is not bothered about food at all. So his training is all through praise.
Charlie can live with cats, lexi is mad about chasing them, so better a cat free household and she has a high prey drive so a home without chickens etc.
They are both sterilised and vaccinated with European passports
